Principal’s speech

Mr. C.L. Fong

Time flies. It has already been 22 years since our International Section was first established in 2002. Since then, KCCIS, which shares the same teaching philosophy with the Direct subsidy scheme of the local section, was established to provide an English/Mandarin medium education for student who wish to further their studies under an internationally renowned curriculum in Hong Kong.

Over the years, I have been happy to witness that KCCIS has evolved from a small department into an institution with seven year groups, providing the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) Examination courses and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme.

I am particularly pleased that all our students achieve very satisfactory results in both examinations. Credit goes to our excellent staff. They have tried hard and worked as one to provide the function of a school to make parents’ wishes and expectations come true. We are proud to say that we have not disappointed parents. Short as its history is, our International Section has made a good start.

We will endeavour to help our students grow into responsible, considerate and enthusiastic young adults, and that they can contribute to society and the country. I am confident that our students will become and will be known as scholastically competent as time goes by.

Mr. C.L. Fong
Principal of
