As Principal, I am incredibly proud to lead Kowloon Junior School. The school itself has a long and proud history, one in which we continue to build on with our ever growing ambition, success and innovative approach to education.

KJS is a student centred, welcoming and community minded school. Our vision of ‘Success for Every Child’ is embodied throughout everything we do. We are proud to guide each and every student to achieve his or her very best.

The school follows the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (PYP). This student centred approach to teaching and learning ensures our children gain the attributes and attitudes to develop as confident critical thinkers, effective communicators and socially responsible global citizens.

At KJS we not only focus on academic achievement but also on the wider learning of Performing Arts, Sport and Languages all underpinned by a strong focus on student and staff wellbeing.

Community is key at KJS. Building strong relationships with our pupils, staff and families is at the heart of everything we do. The ambitious and energetic members of the PTA and School Council provide further support and challenge.

As a member school of the English Schools Foundation (ESF) we ensure that through collaboration and support we can draw on the collective wisdom of a learning community that is at the forefront of educational research and development. This enables KJS, like all ESF schools, to follow their vision that supports students to be ‘the best that they can be’.
