    Dear Prospective Parents,

At Carmel, everything revolves around ‘Excellence, Community, Tradition’. As a Jewish school we develop the whole person within our strong moral and ethical framework, whilst our curriculum highlights the advantages of a Jewish education. Our Pre-school Programmes and International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years (PYP), Middle Years (MYP) and Diploma (DP) Programmes reflect our high academic standards, as well as the personal development aspects of the education we offer. We are proud of the way our students grow into a responsible and caring community of young people, ready for both the academic as well as the personal challenges of tertiary education at top universities worldwide.

Our goal is to facilitate your child’s entry into Carmel School at an appropriate stage between Pre School and Grade 12 and to welcome the whole family into the Carmel learning community. The school welcomes students from all strands of Judaism and does not confer Jewish status. At Elsa High School, we welcome non-Jewish students, and throughout Carmel, from Pre School to the High School, all children with one Jewish parent are accepted.

Family involvement is key and begins from the moment you visit our campuses. We believe the parent–school partnership underpins a child’s ability to blossom and develop to his or her full potential. Carmel School functions as one large family, providing support, care, help and direction. We are delighted to invite you to learn more about our unique school here in Hong Kong.

    Yours,
    Rachel Friedmann
    Principal
