Han Academy
Han Academy was founded is 2017 by Happy Life Education Foundation Limited,
and is a non-profit independent day school enrolling about 260 students from Year 1
to 13. The school offers Cambridge International GCSE and Advanced
Subsidiary/Advanced Level Curriculum, as well as International Baccalaureate Diploma
courses. As a bilingual Chinese-English school, the school brings together the best
elements from two rich education tradtions: the Chinese and the global and promote
mutual understanding between cultures and knowledge of the world, and, at the same
time, strengthen students’ value of their own cultural uniqueness and tradtions. The
school aspires to create an adaptive, inspirational and forward-looking learning community,
so as to inspire creativitiy and critical thinking and nurture responsible global citizens and
leaders of the future

The Academy has been established with a firm belief that each and every student is entitled to a truly bilingual education to foster his or her cultural identity and international outlook. Our School offers your child a unique opportunity to study in both Chinese Mandarin and English as medium of instruction. The proportion of each language as a medium of teaching is carefully managed, with a decreasing use of Chinese and an increasing use of English from Primary up to Secondary classes.
